    Overly complicated to assemble

    The pen has a lot of parts in order to assemble it and the directions aren’t very clear. It doesn’t make it any easier that requires two separate drill bits of odd sizes.

    Solid kit

    I turned the satin nickel with an ebony macassar blank and sold it within 24 hours. This kit is as solid as they come. Feels weighty I’m the hand without being cumbersome. I look forward to making more of the navigator kits.

    A great finish for this pen

    I would even use this pen for business. The satin nickle finish compliments the line and adds a touch of distinction to the pen. Looks great when turned in Osage Orange.

    Great Styling

    This is a great looking pen that writes amazingly smooth. Turning and assembly are easy. There is a glossy clear coat over the satin silver plating.
