Triple-temper heat treatment, combined with cryogenic freezing, makes a superior steel that will hold an edge up to 3 times longer than tools made of M2 high-speed steel. Every Crown M42 Razor Edge Tool comes with a beautiful Black Ash handle with polished copper ferrule. The 3/4" Forged Spindle Gouge is ideal for general-purpose turning – from spindle turning to boxes, small bowls, pens, and detail work. Every woodturner should have at least one.
