    Very Good Product -- Inconvenient to Order

    I've used these plates for "signing" my refinishing and handcrafted projects and they a touch of class to the product and show the customer that I have pride in my work. When I first started using these plates, you could enter the inscription right on the web site. Now, you have to call customer service and tie up their lines while the operators have to take down the inscription letter by letter, line by line. I've commented to Woodcraft about this in the past without any apparent change. Not well played on their part to go from an efficient to an inefficient resource-wasting process. Still, they're the only game in town (that I've found) and it is a very good product.

    Fnishing Touch

    After completing an Oak toy chest for my grandsons, this was just the cherry on top. Everyone who saw it was really impressed and someday in the future he can remember that "Grandpa" built it for him. working on the second one now The perfect ending to a great project

    Very nice heavy duty plaque.

    We bought this plaque to put on a cradle that was made by my husband 25 years ago and will now be used by our grandchild. We looked at another big name store but the plaques they had were stick on and the price did not include the engraving. Definitely a much better quality plaque. Will definitely purchase again for other handmade projects.

    Pet Urn Label

    Our family cat died recently in November 2012. I made my own urn for her ashes as we had her for 17 years. AS I gave the urn 3 coats of semi-gloss paint, I was looking for a nameplate to complete the finishing touch. Once it arrived in the mail, I installed it and thank you for 3 screws, I don't know where the 3rd one is. The lettering was as requested online. From the bottom of my heart, I thank Woodcraft to ensure years of memories with her urn.

    Good Product, Poor Shipping

    Shipping of this product was a joke !! The distance from the warehouse to my house is 125 miles. It was shipped on Thursday and I didn't receive it until the following Tuesday. The problem was that it started with FedEx and was given to USPS. It came in an envelope and cost more to ship than the cost of the product.

    The "tiny slotted" screws are a little tough to work with but they do add a touch of antiquity.

    AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

    I wanted 5 small engraved brass plates with one left blank, but could not get that to work on line. I called the customer service, who not only gave me the 5 count price and the 5th one FREE, but took some cost off my shipping for "having to take the time to call"!! I will use this site again, and have told people to use them too.

    Good news and bad news.....

    Bad news: In the listing the plate really does "look" exactly as you would picture in your mind it should look like..... but it is not as pictured in the listing. Close, but no cigar. Also, the plate as received looks "tinny" and cheap, and the laser cut black letters do not appear to be very durable. Disappointing. Good news: It is very reasonably priced, they give good reasonable time to finish and ship, and if you do not need the "quality look" for these, you will love them.

    "Perfect addition to gifts"
