Not for every saw
I have a brand new Porter Cable circ. Saw. The plate is angled up slightly at the front making it impossible to attach the Rip-cut properly. Check your saw plate first. It must be perfectly flat in the front.

I tried
I really wanted this to work. I messed around with it for two days trying to make it something I could use regularily. I did cut one piece of plywood, but the annoyance of setting it up isn't worth it. The idea is good but the set screws that hold the saw base drove me nuts. If there was a way to make an adjustable base that held the entire saw shoe, it would be so much easier. I hope Woodcraft honors their 90 guarantee because I am returning it.

Great Tool for Those Who Work Alone.
Great solution for ripping large panels or doors. Not so great is that your saw is locked into the device. While easy to remove the saw from the device (screw driver,few seconds of time), I'm reluctant to disengage if more work is coming up. Still, the saw is usable for a short cross cut of a board. Takes some walking around the saw horses to get the saw lined up so that I'm not getting a angled cut because of the guide. Wish I had had this years ago when I was doing extensive remodeling and had hundreds of panel cuts to do by myself.

Would not fit any of my 3 saws....
I bought this at the "[@]" box store because it was the only rip guide in stock and no other stores were close. I was reluctant because of the price and my experiences with plastic, especially in cold weather. It took about 15 minutes to figure out the different length screws and types of nuts, and to assemble it. Then the disappointment came- the clamps would not fit 2 Craftsman professional saws I have, and also would not fit my DeWalt Pro saw (the one with the composite shoe/ brake). The aluminum rail is nice, but the plastic shoe is pretty flimsy.

Very cool jig and it works!
I used to rip 1/4" thick strips of a piece of 2x12 and it worked. Hard thing is setting up using the scale on the jig as it does not allow for blade thickness. Hardware should include lock washers as I already lost two of the nuts :(

I purchased this product for use in my garage to cut 4 x 8 panels of sheet goods for easier handling before I take them down to my workshop in my basement. Easy to set up and easy to use.

Solid, accurate guide
Another solid Kreg product, I like it. Good detailed instructions to setup. Quick release lever to adjust cut width works great. Feels very solid when using it and delivers very accurate cuts.
