    Incra box joint jig

Just purchased this today, got it set up didn't take but 20 to 30 min to set up followed instructions on practice cuts i was amazed perfect fit first try except for i had my blade height to low reset blade height perfect. Only issue I had was one of the allen head bolts used to hold the fence to the miter gauge did not have the grooves cut out for the Allen to go into but managed to fixed. this thing is awesome would highly suggest to any woodworker especially a new wood worker just learning box joints. On top of this the woodcraft workers where great at helping me find what I needed and give me information i asked for.

    Wrong Hardware

I have not gotten to try this out yet because I was not sent the correct screws for set up. Very frustrated that after spending this kind of money on this thing I have to hunt down the correct hardware to get it up and going!

    Disappointed

I was looking for a way to get good box joints on my table saw so I invested in this jig. After reading through the directions and watching the enclosed DVD, got it put together and set up correctly. My biggest gripe is getting the pins to all be the same size. Unlike my Leigh jig with the finger joint template, this thing relies on stock width to determine if end pins will be sized correctly. Plus there's alot of taking pieces off and putting back on during initial setup that is a real pain. I'll stick with the Leigh jig for this work. Alot less work and nicer results. Affraid this thing will be collecting dust instead of making it. Very disappointed.

    Incra Ibox

I’ve had the Ibox for a couple years now. At first I thought there was a problem with it as the fingers were not the same size. It timed out my table saw had a 20thou. runout in the arbor. I replaced the saw with a SawStop Pro now the fingers a dead on. The Ibox is easy to setup and use. The results are impressive.

Best box joint jig out there

This is by far the best box joint system you will ever find. Easy setup by just following the instructions. Even fine tuning is quick and simple. Works well with small contractor size saws. A great addition to my shop.

    Definitely worth the money!!!!!!!

The set up & assembly instructions were easy to follow. The accompanying DVD is outstanding!!!!!!!! I made a couple of box joint jigs but they don't come close to comparing with the ease of use and accuracy of the Incra Ibox. My fist trial joints turned out perfect the first go!!

    Excellent jig

Using the included DVD and printed instructions, it was easy to set up and use. First trial yielded usable joints but succeeding uses yielded nearly perfect joints. I had dedicated jigs for five different sizes of box joints and they are now drawing dust!

    Gives perfect joints every time

I have tried a few box joint solutions, but the iBox is best for consistent results. You have to dedicate some time to getting your head around its use and adjustments, but success comes quickly. The DVD is a real asset and should be a requirement for any major tool nowadays. My first project was a set of drawers from 1 x 12 stock. They were flawless, and a lot faster than using my dovetailed. These were done on the tablesaw, because I am still perfecting my router process.

    Follow Directions in set up!

Most folks don't have a DVD player in the workshop so set up and adjusting rely on the printed set up instructions which are a bit spotty, especially after initial set up. Take notes from the DVD to use the jig after the initial set up and for the more advanced uses.

It works and worth the expense

I use this primarily to cut fingers for bee hive bodies and decorative boxes. This is hands down easy to use once you learn how to use it. As other reviewers state - it's all in the CD and printed user's manual. I've used this with a wide range of stock, and by far the best for larger items - but just as easy with small parts. Very repeatable - you can cut a batch of panels today, and 3 weeks from now cut some more and the pieces are still interchangeable. Very sturdy all around, including the key that holds the finger while cutting. The very first setup I used (following the instructions) worked like a charm - very snug joints, but no pounding. Well worth the cost if you do any amount of finger joinery with a table saw or router.

    Finally one that WORKS

As in the other five star review, it takes a little time to set up - the fingers were very tightly closed on the unit I got, so it took a few trys before I got the feel of the fit and spacing between the fingers. You need to watch the entire CD - especially to understand the clever way you can dial in accurate (.001) , partial width fingers. Does a great job holding long boards (15 x 32 x 1/2 plywood!) Once set up, it is an absolute joy to use. It will cut ANY width finger joint from 1/8" to 7/8" wide, and do it accurately on the first try after ONE calibration cut to set the finger width. One of the best tools ever.
