In answer to a review by Doc on 4/04/14 ....One has to start by having a descent table saw.......
The set I got cut well, but not perfectly in the 1/4" configuration, there was a slight shoulder on one side of the cut. When set to produce 3/8" fingers one side of the cut was a little more than 1/32" deeper than the other. This is simply unacceptable for a product that advertises itself as producing flawless cuts. The fit of these blades on my arbor was perfect, so I couldn't see anything in my setup that would have caused these errors. I had no option other than returning the product for a full refund.
Becoming a fast favorite
I LOVE THIS TOOL! Fast setup. Spot on accurate. Smooth cutting even on the end grain. Minimal tear out without a backing board, no tear out with a backing board. I put this through its paces as soon as I got it and I knew I had made a smart purchase. The blade also comes with very detailed instructions on how to build and use a simple box cutting jig. I built it with scraps from around the shop and it works better than the one I had. Yes it is limited to 2 sizes but ease of use makes up for that minor shortcoming.
Dadoes and rabbit, oh my.
The dadoes and rabbits I use the most are the ones this product cuts. I also found that this IS the way I'll now cut all my none-variable box joints. Thanks for a product that is well made and does what promises to do.
