The Flexcut KN300 Whittler's Carving Knife Set features two of the most popular carving knives the Standard Detail and Mini Detail tools. Knives have comfortable fixed ash wood handles that provide a controlled grip allowing the hand to remain relaxed by keeping the force of the stroke in the heel of your hand preventing fatigue. The razor sharp blades are dual tempered high carbon steel offering extreme edge holding properties with a tough flexible shaft. The black oxide finish is part of the steel itself which will not crack peel or rust, if cared for properly. Both tools are pre-sharpened and ready to use. This set includes a bar of Flexcut Gold Polishing Compound for maintaining that perfect edge.

    Super strong!

    I've been using these for a couple weeks now and could not be more happy! I've carved Poplar and Cherry wood with no issues, the metal is extremely durable and they stay sharp, even after finishing a project in cherry wood! I will buy more Flexcut knives.

    Sharp little buggers!

    They are sharp as they should be. No, I didn't cut myself with these. I have been down that road before though. Buy something to protect your hand. You'll be glad you did.
