Details

Mother Nature and science are paired in this combination of figured burl wood caps and color resins to create a one-of-a-kind knife scale with only a limited amount of the smells associated with acrylics. Cast under high pressure, resin penetrates the pores of the burl, resulting in a stable blank with minimal voids. Thanks to the chip-resistant resin, the blanks are easy to shape. When finishing your knife scale, use multiple coats of thin CA glue to seal the wood creating a uniform sheen over the entire blank.
