    Box Hinge

    perfect hinge for jewelry box.

    Works great but pain to install

    These stop hinges work and look great but are a huge pain to install. Drilling out the mortises was tedious, frustrating, and took way too many hours. Mortising instructions would have been very useful.

    It is good for small light boxes. When the lid becomes bigger and heavier it loses its sturdiness.

    This hinge set is unusual enough that it should have instructions to make installation easier

    Great Buy

    I bought 2 sets, 1 for a humidor and one for a jewelry box. The gold plating maintains the elegance of the jewelry box even in the hardware and resists corrosion due to exposure to high humidity in the humidor. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is there are higher quality hinges available from Woodcraft. I am rating mainly on quality of product regardless of cost.
