Woodcraft has brought together the most exceptional stock exotic hardwood knife scale blanks. These blanks are a little larger than our typical knife scales giving you plenty to work with on the larger knives. This size will also work as a guitar bridge blank.
The heartwood of Gaboon ebony (Diospyros spp.) is usually jet black, with little to no variation or visible grain. Occasionally dark brown or grayish-brown streaks may be present. Can be difficult to work due to its extremely high density, but worth the reward. Takes finishes well, and finishes to a high luster. Africa.
