    Love this pen kid

This is one of my 4 or 5 go to pens. The thicker barrel with single segment means it shows off unique wood very nicely. Things like birds eye maple and others with small grain features really pop. It goes together easily and quickly but people find it quite elegant. The only problem I've had is having to occasionally drill out the pen nib - on some of the kits the opening is not large enough for the pen tip. But I find that's the case with many of the kits.

Surprised how much I like it

I generally don’t love the short, somewhat stubby pens. Bought a few and they make up nicely. Well balanced in the hand. Smooth writing (although I would love a gel replacement refill) Made up some in antiqued oak, mahogany and walnut and all are beautiful. Only caveat is the longer single blank is a touch too long for my drill press so requires a bit of work. Well received. Will buy more.

    fun to make

I make and sell the pens... Cons; One of the tips for the pen was not finished properly, when the point of the refil was down it stuck in the tip of the pen. I had to drill it out just a bit, can't seel the pen, will have to be a giveaway.

    I would buy again

Just seemed strange that the pen operates when turning in either direction.

    Good fit.

I like how the pen fits in a dress shirt pocket. The components fit well together and is a unique design.
