Fountain pen kit is equipped with a high quality nib, while the Rollerball kit features a Schmidt® ceramic roller ink refill. Kit requires a pen blank, 27/64" pen maker’s bit, bushings, and pen mandrel, all sold separately.

Arete Fountain Pen
This is a nice looking pen that is easy to turn. Looks great when finished. The only issue is the nib on the pen. It is so fine that it is very rough and scratchy when writing. There is no way to adjust the nib to smooth it out. The nib makes the pen pretty much useless for writing. So even though it looks good, I would not recommend the fountain pen version because of the nib.
