This heavy-duty pedestal fan was designed for hazardous locations and features an explosion proof motor (Class 1, Group D & Class 2, Groups E, F, and G of the National Electrical Code; more info below). It is perfect for a welding shop, or where paint / stain operations take place. Other hazardous locations would be where hazardous materials such as explosive gas / vapor or dust is in the atmosphere. is an excellent choice for churches, schools, shops, and industrial or commercial applications.

The National Electrical Code defines Class 1, Group D as an atmosphere that could contain vapors from: Acetone, acrylonitrile, ammonia, benzene, butane, ethanol, ethylene dichloride, gasoline, hexane, isoprene, methane (natural gas), methanol, naphtha, propane, styrene, toluene, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, or xylene.
The National Electrical Code defines Class II dusts as: Group E: Aluminum, magnesium, and other dusts with similar characteristics. Class 2, Group F: Carbon black, coke, or coal dust. Class II, Group G: Flour, starch, or grain dust.

Warranty Information

Commercial Product Warranty: Airmaster Fan Company warrants to the original user that the equipment shipped will be the kind and quality described in the specifications and to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. Liability for defects of material and workmanship in the motor are expected from the Arimaster warranty, but are covered in the warranty of the motor manufacturer. Airmaster Fan Company will rectify defects in material or workmanship within one year from the date of shipment from the factory, provided the Company receives immediate written notice of such defects and such claims are substantiated to its satisfaction. Correction of such defects by repair or replacement at Company's option, F.O.B. the Company's factory, shall constitute the sole obligation under this warranty. This warranty does not include accessories or any part of the unit which is subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, or damage caused by flood, fire, or act of God. Under no circumstances is Airmaster Fan Company liable for labor costs incurred in installation or removal for repairs. Under no circumstances is Airmaster Fan Company liable for incidental or consequential damages due to failure to meet the conditions of any warranty. No liability of any nature is assumed by the company for failure to make delivery due to any act or condition beyond its reasonable control. Limited 1 Year Consumer Warranty: On products intended for personal, family, or household purposes, the following limited warranty applies instead of the Commercial warranty. Airmaster warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 Year from the provable date of purchase. Airmaster will repair or replace, at its option, defective parts at no charge, within this warranty period, provided the product is returned freight prepaid with proof of purchase date to: Airmaster Fan Company, 1300 Falahee Rd., Jackson, MI 49203. The obligation under this warranty does not include responsibility for any transportation expenses. PRODUCT WILL BE RETURNED TO THE CONSUMER FREIGHT COLLECT. This warranty is void as to any part that has been improperly installed, overloaded, abused, or altered in any manner. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages arising from any defect of this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. No one is authorized to assume any liability on behalf of Airmaster or impose any obligation on it in connection with the sale of any product other than as outlined above. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
