WoodRiver® Dust Connection™ 4" to 2-1/2" Reducer is a adapter that makes it possible to attach two hoses of different diameters together. A step down in size by a reducer increases air velocity near the machine where it's needed most. The economical fittings found in the WoodRiver™ Dust Connection™ series are designed to help build a high performance dust extraction system for your shop. Each of the fittings are made of ABS plastic (except for the aluminum blast gate), a material that is durable enough to withstand the abrasive nature of saw dust and wood fiber.

Features:

  • 4" to 2-1/2" ABS Reducer
  • Attach two hoses of different diameters together
  • Increases air velocity near the machine where it is needed most (near the machine)

    Very disappointed

    This part looks very, very nice. Sadly, it does not fit a SawStop dust port. The 4" side is the exact same size as the saw's dust port. Tomorrow I shall be returning the part.

    Just Right

    This reducer connects my router table with the shop's dust collection system.

    Absolutely worthless

    This is absolutely worthless. I have 2 new machines with 3 4" dust ports. This product will not fit in the dust ports, it is exactly the same size the dust port. Therefore, it CANNOT be a reducer as advertized. Now I have to waste my time shipping it back.

    This connects my 4" sanding pickup, for my wood lathe, to my 2.5" dust pickup system.
