    Junk

Lasted about 20-30 blanks. I had to push so hard on the blank because the trimmer head was dull that it shattered two blanks. Done. Metal on the bits are too soft also. The drill chuck mars the surface so you can't take off the trimmer head.

    Did not meet expectations

Heard this was a good trimmer to get because it stays sharp longer than others. It went dull after 4 or 5 cuts and had to sharpen. Was disappointed in the product especially coming from Whiteside.

    Went Dull Quickly

This barrel trimmer went dull after trimming six slimline sets (domestic hardwoods). I've always thought Whitesides made quality tools (router bits) and I was glad to see their name on the packaging when I purchased it. I would have thought it would hold an edge a bit longer though. As a plus, it was fairly easy to sharpen it up in 5 minutes with a DMT fine diamond hone. Back to it...

    Buy the carbide one

Great idea but will not stay sharp very long.
