Would you like to be rewarded without much effort and while learning and having fun? For every January demo you attend, you can complete an entry form for a drawing at the end of January. Six demos are scheduled in January. You can have up to 6 entries submitted. Call 419-389-0560 or check our Facebook page for details of the drawing.

At Woodcraft of Toledo we offer FREE demos and Discovery Centers on many subjects and skills: finishing, dovetails, carving, maintaining your tools, sharpening, hand tools, power tools, turning, and much more! And we have vendors as well as nationally / internationally known woodworkers doing demos.

Many of our vendor's tools are available for you to try or for us to demonstrate. We are the only local distributor of Rikon and General / General International in the Toledo area! And we have the largest selection of router bits in NE Ohio.
Classes & Seminars
Classes and seminars are continually being developed and added to our schedule. Click on the Classes link on the left side of this screen to see the full list.
We offer classes in cabinetry, turning, carving, furniture, basic woodworking, bandsaw boxes, scroll saw, intarsia, Shaker boxes, independent study (topic or skill of your choice), and many more! We also have beginning woodworking classes for youth that also qualify for Boy Scout / Girl Scout merit badges.
Carve-Along
Thursday mornings: 9am to 12 noon
Thursday evenings: 5:30 to 8:30pm
We have a very creative and active group of Carve-Along participants who meet every week, share their love of carving, "talk shop" with anyone stopping by, or just chat with those who might be interested in learning to carve. Anyone is welcome to join. The focus of both groups is to mentor, share the love of carving, and learn tips and tricks from your peers. Join either group or both groups! Men, women, youth -- all are welcome!
There is no cost to participate in this activity. We are, however accepting donations and the proceeds go to a charitable organization identified by the Carve-Along groups. Organizations supported have included: Ronald McDonald House, Wags & Wheels, the American Cancer Society, the NW Ohio Hemophilia Foundation, Hospice of NW Ohio, and the Children's Burn Center.
Sharpening Services

You can prevent injury (i.e., kick-back on a table saw) by ensuring that you have a sharp blade, bit, turning tool, or chisel. We offer professional sharpening service with turn-around time of one week for chisels and turning tools and 7-10 days for saw blades and router bits. |
