Consider a new woodworking skill with
Intarsia
Saturday, March 20, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Intarsia is a technique that uses a scroll saw to carefully cut out shapes that will eventually be sanded and put back together to form an overall image. Wood selection is very important when doing intarsia so that the desired look is achieved.
Dan Ecklund, the intarsia teacher, has been woodworking for over 30 years and studied the art of intarsia under Judy Gale Roberts and Jerry Booher. He has produced many intarsia projects from a BMW motorcycle wall hanging to a guitar collection wall hanging. He will have examples to show you.
This is a great class for beginning woodworkers of all ages as well as woodworkers desiring to learn something new.
