Most of us consider our woodworking to be serious stuff. We constantly work to improve our skills and try to make each project better than the one before it. You need to start with the best tools that you can afford and you need to understand how to use those tools and tune them properly. These classes are all free, but do require pre-registration and class size is limited. Plan to spend 1.5-2 hours in each class. Prepare to have some fun and learn a thing or two along the way. Woodworking Apprenticeship Program w/ Master Woodworker Don Washow
Woodcraft in Madison is proud to present an Apprenticship Program with Don Washow. The Apprenticeship Program is a series of classes, that when completed, will give you the skills necessary to build either cabinets or furniture.
The benifit of the program is that a serious woodworker can within a year's time experience the skills and techniques necessary to become a professional woodworker. This is the only program of it's kind within a 200 mile radius and is offered at a fraction of the cost of other programs.
The program requires that the student complete specific classes to qualify for the program. Contact the store for details.
Class benefits include:
Merchandise discount card and a free class: setting up your own shop
Graduation gift: low angle block plane and a free private class: hand plane sharpening and tune up
Only classes presented by Don Washow will be accepted in this program.
