>ATTENTION SCROLL SAW ENTHUSIESTS...Richmond Woodcraft will be hosting a new scroll saw club, "The River City Scrollers" forming in July with its first meeting scheduled for the 23rd. Subsequent meetings will be held in one of our classrooms every fourth Thursday of the month. Coordinating the club's development is Mike Mathieu (804-897-1180). Come and see what it's allabout. Share your ideas, experience and scrolling tips with others.

Thanks for visiting our Woodcraft Store Page! We hope you'll find it useful. Through periodic updates, we will keep you informed about what's happening at the Richmond Woodcraft store.

Itching to get your hands on some new tools? Come in and let our helpful store associates show you around. Every associate is a woodworker and would be happy to share their knowledge with you. When walking around our store, take note of the many employee projects and antique tools. Notice the unique displays including a massive red oak burl, rare wood from Brazil and a 17 foot hand made canoe. See a variety of carvings completed by local woodworking artists and several unique projects made of toothpicks (yes, that's woodworking too). We guarantee you will enjoy the experience! We now have four clubs meeting at the store on a regular bases. If you are looking for a turning, scroll saw or carving club, check them out on our "Club Events" page.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: We are always looking for qualified individuals interested in sharing their knowledge with other woodworkers. If you have some woodworking experience, are friendly and sociable, can communicate effectively, able to lift heavy boxes and have a yearn to learn, stop in or send us an email to request an application.

Be sure to look at our class schedule. If you find one you like, we can sign you up over the phone. Some of the more unique classes offered include building an acoustic guitar, making a blanket chest and turning a three winged bowl. Because some classes are very popular and with our limited space to provide ample one-on-one instruction, contact us early.

Instructors Wanted:
We are always looking for people who enjoy sharing their knowledge and teaching others, so contact us if you are interested in teaching at our store.

Do you receive our monthly sales flyer? If not, send us an email with your name and address and we'll sign you up! If you aren't receiving the Woodcraft email news letter, we probably don't have your current email address. These news letters include technical information and special sales to email recipients only. And remember, it's our commitment to never sell, loan, rent or otherwise distribute your email information to anyone outside the woodcraft organization! That's a promise!

Don't forget to view our pictures and classes.
