The holidays are here again and it's time to let Jim teach you to make your own hand-carved Santa Claus. We will provide pre-cut blanks, and Jim will take you step by step through the carving. You will leave this all day class with your own heirloom Santa ready to paint!

Introduction to Turning Wood: Bowl and Mallet with Jeremy Nuttall
Saturday, December 21, 9:30am - 5pm
In this hands-on class, Jeremy will be teaching both of the main skills in woodturning; face plate turning and how to create all of the basic spindle shapes and cuts. Students will turn a small bowl and a wooden mallet. This is the perfect class for the beginning turner, or a great way to hone your turning skills. Jeremy is a credentialed teacher and is a premier local woodturner.

Discussion On Cabinetmaking Techniques with Jeremy Nuttall

If you have ever wanted to build your own cabinets, this demonstration/lecture class is for you! Jeremy will discuss how to plan and construct a run of cabinets. Topics covered will include materials, costs, dimensions, tools required, and installation tips.

Cabinetry 1: Building a Carcass & Face Frame with Jeremy Nuttall
Saturday, January 4, 9:30am - 3:30pm
The first step in building cabinets is constructing the "box" or carcass. In this hands on class, you will learn the proper techniques to create a strong and durable cabinet carcass. Joinery and assembly techniques for most cabinet applications will be covered. The Kreg jig will be used for the face frame assembly as well.
Tools Required: Safety Glasses & Hearing Protection
