Woodcraft, Sandy Utah, stocks an exceptional selection of domestic and exotic wood in straight grain and figured types, as well as burl. Wood is available as carving and turning blanks, 4/4, 8/4 planks, and veneers as well. We have a selection of 24" x 30" & smaller Finnish and Baltic birch plywoods. Wood species currently in stock include plain and figured domestic woods such as ash, basswood, cedar, cherry, maple, red and white oak and walnut. Exotics include bocote, bloodwood, bubinga, canarywood, cocobolo, lyptus, makore and others are available. |
Classes: Our class offerings include a variety of projects that would make perfect gifts. And, for the woodworker who has just received a new tool, be sure to sign up for our BASIC classes. Just click on the 'classes' link to the left to see our current offerings. You can sign up over the phone with a credit card.
Instructors: We are looking for instructors to teach classes in the evenings or on Saturdays. Call Alan Kirkwood at our store, 801-566-5652 to set you up as one of our instructors and talk about the type of class you would like to teach.

Special Orders: Please give us call or send us an email -- especially if you live outside of the Salt Lake Valley -- to check on availability of items, to place a special order, or to register for one of our classes. Let us know if you need a large quantity of an item(s). We place orders on Monday. The turn around time is usually 7 to 10 working days.
