Want an easy way to verify everything fits before making the first cut? Need to create shop fixtures and accurate jigs? How does a helping hand in the shop sound (one who never complains)? If any of this sounds good, then you have found the perfect class.
We begin by addressing the question of “what is CAD?”. Then we look at where CAD fits into the woodworking scheme of things, and what it can do for us. We examine how CAD supports manual builds in the shop, how it drives 3D printing and how it provides designs for CNC machining.
Then through a guided tour, demonstrations and hands-on exercises, you learn to use an intuitive 3D CAD program – installed on your own PC.
CAD will add an entirely new dimension to your woodworking toolbox. Don’t wait! Get started with this fantastic new tool today.
