Beginning lathe work is easy with this wooden pen making class. Students will learn basic turning techniques on a mini-lathe while making their very own wooden ink pen. Exceptional handouts and instructions will enable students to make additional pens after the class at their homes. You will have a beautiful pen that you can show.
Calling all kids ages 10-17! In this class you will learn the basics of turning starting with your very own pen. This fun class will teach you the beginning fundamentals of turning, the process for turning a pen start to finish, and you will leave with a completed wooden pen. This class is a pre-requisite for future turning project classes.

You will learn the proper way to achieve true, flat and square (beginning fundamentals). You will leave with a finished cutting board. This is the pre-requisite class for Beginning Woodworking 102 and Intermediate Cutting Board.

Scroll Sawing is a very enjoyable woodworking hobby. It has many styles that let you make beautiful pieces within scroll sawing, fret work or intarsia. This introducion class helps you practice and learn the correct way to easily do these with an expert instructor. You will complete beginning pieces in the class to take home with you.
In this bowl turning class you will be guided through the steps of making your very own offset bowl. An offset bowl (pictured below) requires the student to have some experience turning. Students will start with a 7x3 rounded blank and learn how to mount and turn to create a one of a kind bowl. Our newest class also features our newest instructor, Rich Cowan, who we are so excited has joined our instructional team! Come check it out and take your turning to the next level.
In this bowl turning class we will start with a 4" cube, and you will be guided through the steps of turning your very own Tri-Corner Bowl. Turning a Tri-Corner Bowl requires the student to have some significant turning experience.
