Join Charlie and other carvers of all skill levels in four sequential sessions to learn the techniques of relief carving. Introduction To Woodturning

Join us in the shop and learn the basics of lathe turning and how to correctly turn spindles. This class is designed for the beginning turner as well as those students who have done some turning but may still have some questions about spindle turning. Each student will turn a practice spindle, and a small woodworker's mallet to take home. Students will learn the parts of the lathe, turning tools, proper turning techniques, finishing techniques used for turning, and SAFETY while turning.
