In this class students will be introduced to the process of making an epoxy river table, including mold construction, slab preparation, and epoxy pouring. Several different epoxy options will be discussed, along with dye and dust coloring. In part one, students will build the mold, cut and treat the slab, and pour the river. In part two, students will be instructed on how to prepare their river table for an epoxy top coat using several power tools such as the table saw, jointer, various sanders, and router table. After preparing, the top coat will be poured and projects would be ready for pickup in about a day.
