Nice fountain pen
The directions have been updated and are reasonably clear for assembling the fountain pen. (although the fountain pen doesn’t need a spring (and doesn’t come with one)) The pen writes very nice, even flow, not “splotchy.” Sterling silver looks very nice, just wonder about long term tarnishing...
Very Nice Pen But Instruction Blip
Excellent fountain pen. I noticed another review that said posted instructions were only for roller ball, but the instructions actually cover both fountain and roller ball. However there is an error in the fountain pen instructions. There is a separate section for fountain pen lower barrel assembly but the fountain pen lower barrel assembly should also include or at least point to the first four sentences of the roller ball lower barrel assembly.
A great pen at an affordable price!!
The Pastor that bought 10 of these pens for gifts can not get over the how great the pen feels and writes,
It great for school use.
I am a penmaker as a side job as I get through school and make and sell about 100 pens a year. The fit and finish of these pens is incredible. Whether on my website or at a craft fair these sell quick. The instructions are for the rollerball, but the main construction is similar. Turning is easy with simple straight cuts and the hardware compliments just about any material. Comfortable and lightweight, one of my personal everyday writers.
Assembly instructions not available
The link for the assembly instructions is for the wrong pen. It is for the roller pen not the fountain pen. The parts do not match and after paying [$], i am not going to just guess.
