Live Edge/Resin inlay table?
While Hairpin Legs have been in use since 1941, they have gained and loss popularity over the years since. Recently people have been doing a lot of DIY projects. You can combine rustic with industrial just by adding hairpin legs to any wood table top.
The hairpin leg was created in 1941 by designer Henry P. Glass. In a time where supplies were slim and money even slimmer, the hairpin leg offered the same strength as a traditional style table leg for less material cost. They really were a true war-time invention. Once brought to the public eye, they were used first by the Russel Wright American-Way Collection.
Now, today in 2018, the hairpin leg popularity is soaring. First and foremost with the live edge table with resin inlay. A beautiful, semi-beginner friendly DIY project.
