Wood burning (pyrography) is the art of creating pictures on wood by scorching or burning the wood. You can also write on the wood or enhance other woodworking projects by burning the wood. During this demo you will learn about the different types of tools to use, the importance of wood selection, and how to make a sample board to help you get started in pyrography.

Resawing On The Bandsaw

Resawing wood: the thick and thin of slicing wood. Ever wonder what to do with the tree that just fell down in your yard? We will show you how you can take the dried logs you have on hand, use the log mill to re-saw the wood, and then use the wood for your projects.
