Guest Demonstrator: Barry Todd
Saturday, February 23, 11 AM - 4 PM

Barry Todd is a relative newcomer to the world of woodturning, having put tool to wood for the first time in 2010 and had his first lesson in 2014. He has been working with wood since his childhood. Barry began by helping his Dad in his shop and watching things take shape from his ideas through his hands and tools. It was early on that Barry knew that he had to be a maker, and that wood would be his medium of choice. In his opinion, wood itself, contributes much to the beauty of the finished piece. The grain, colors, textures and defects all contribute to the story that each piece has to tell. Barry specializes in Architectural woodturning, Bowl, Finials, Hollow Forms, Natural edge turning, Ornaments, other spindle projects. Come in and watch him turn a hunk of wood into something beautiful.
