Covid-19 General Store Information
First - Thank you all for your support in these very challenging times. We appreciate your business, your company, and your patience.
Here's some general information about the current situation:
It is our intent to comply with all state and county requirements. Face coverings are currently required by both the state and county to come into the store. We respectfully ask that you wear a mask as we are.
Classes, Demonstrations, and Clubs
Although Larimer County has a variance to some Colorado state requirements we don't have a way to meet the requirements within our space for most group activities.
Larimer county is under notice from the state that the variance may be cancelled if there isn't improvement in the infection rate. If the county can keep the variance we'll be evaluating our classes and hopefully begin a limited number that can operate within the guidelines. Unfortunately, general demonstrations and club meetings will not be possible.
Yes - there's a coin shortage and it's affecting the store. (Who would have expected this?) It will help me greatly if you either pay with exact cash or use a card for your purchases. If you are willing you can return your coin change to us so we can cycle it back into the store.
Here's some detail:
I didn't realize until I started working retail is how cash "cycles". I need to regularly go to the bank and get smaller denominations for the larger denominations you give me so I can give you back smaller denominations in change. In normal times it's easy but right now:
- Bank lobbies are closed so I must use the drive-through.
- Coins can't travel through the pneumatic tubes so I'm restricted to the longest line at the pop-out drawer.
- There's a coin shortage so I can only get a limited amount of coin per day.
What does this mean? I get to go to the bank about 3 days a week and wait up to an hour in line. (Sorry for the whining!)
We're still running modified store hours. When I make any change I update our store website, Facebook, and Google so those are good sources. Be careful of any other online information as I don't have direct control of those sources. (Unfortunately, the lead time for the store sales flyer is long so I'm not able to update that information.)
Our current hours are:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Thursday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Sunday 10:00 am to 5 :00 pm
