The cutter of our ceramic vegetable peeler is made from the same translucent zirconia ceramics used in our kitchen knives. It will not tarnish or rust and is totally resistant to the absorption of food odors. They are easily cleaned by rinsing in warm water and do not need to be fully dried prior to storage. The handle is made from tough ABS plastic resin and is angled to the cutter for increased cutting efficiency. The cutting width is 1-5/8˝ and overall length is 5-1/4˝.
