Details

Our selection of sequence-matched veneer packs by Sauers and Company® allows you to create inspiring works of art with your woodworking project. Each 2/83" thick sheet measures 12" in length and 4-1/2" to 6-1/2" in width. The convenient 3 square foot packs are the perfect size for marquetry, inlay repair, accents on furniture and any other small jobs around the shop. Zebrawood veneer has nice vertical grains with bold light tan to dark brown contrasting stripes. The contrasting grain can be tightly spaced or slightly wider but always an alternating light and dark contrast. Zebrawood is an African hardwood that is hard, heavy and dense, with a moderately coarse texture and a somewhat porous grain. Zebrawood veneer will accept finishes well. It can be stained but is usually finished with a clear coat that preserves the contrasting characteristics and beauty of the wood’s natural color.

Notes:

  • Due to the nature of wood movement, shrinkage and expansion are possible. Please measure each piece carefully before starting any project.
  • Wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces are alike to start with, while the same wood growing in different locales can vary greatly even though it is the exact same species.
