Yellowheart, pau amarello (euxylophora paraensis) heartwood color ranges from pale to golden yellow, darkening slightly with age. Yellowheart is a close-grained, fine textured hardwood that can be worked with hand or power tools, although its hardness may dull some cutting edges. Due to its hardness and naturally high luster, this wood will take a lustrous polish with fine abrasives. Common uses for Yellowheart include boxes, carving, flooring, furniture, inlay, turnings, and musical instruments.

Rough sanded and ready for use, these assortments eliminate hours of material preparation and allow more time for finishing your projects. These premium grade hardwoods are ideal for scroll sawing, intarsia, jewelry boxes, and a variety of other projects.
