X-Treme Tape® Duct Hose Wrap seals leaks at the joints of a dust collection system and repairs punctures in expensive dust collection hose. Seals gaps formed with hose clamps. It's better than ordinary duct tape because there is no residue after removal and it leaves joints and hoses clean and free of sawdust.

    X-ellent stuff

    This stuff works great. You just stretch it out and wrap it around over itself and it sticks and holds tight. I'm using it on some hose connections without clamps and it holds tight.

    not impressed

    It's an acceptable alternative to duct tape, but I don't feel it's worth the money. The product has to be kept spotless to work. The slightest amount of dust and it won't stick to itself. I also found it worked much better if you wet it a little. Not big on licking my dust system in the cellar to get the tape to stick.

    Better than duct tape

    This stuff really works. I have difficulty getting any tape to stay in place on my dust collection hoses or seals. This is the first product that actually works as promised. Now that I have it I'm also finding all sorts of uses for it. Great new product, hope it gets cheaper as it becomes more common, but it's worth the price today.

    Amazing Tape

    Am using this with my dust collection system to seal between connections and on a Shop Vac hose connected to an Oneida dust collection add-on. I have been using the tape for 2 weeks and every spot that I taped is still tight and secure...even the ends are staying down, no lifting. It is quick to use and can be pulled very tight as you wrap around a joint/connection. It will be in my workbench drawer and used for many applications in place of other types of tape...not just with the dust collection system.
