      Better instructions

      I was disappointed. The plans either need sharper photographs or it needs more detailed instructions but these plans failed at both. I'm an aerospace engineer and read assembly plans all the time and these were not as clear as they should have been. A rule of thumb is that free plans in woodworking magazines should not be better and more clear than plans you pay for. I gave it three stars because it eventually did go together. The full size templates were helpful.

      Good plan

      I really liked the full size templates. The instructions could have been better explained for the novice, but they were fine for me. The base template screw holes for the spreader should be closer to the center line (about 1/4") as there is a danger of squirting through the side of the spreader. The height for the crib rail is not given, (11-1/2") so make sure your spindles are deep enough. I used oak and bought turned spindles and a light stain and it is fantastic.

      just what we wanted

      this was the perfect xmas gift for our grandaughter. it is easy to construct, simple directions, nice material list etc. i took my original plans to a local surveying business, had them copy the plans in thier plotter-printer, and then cut the copy to get my pattern pieces. it was a hit for christmas, she loves it!!

      I like the layout

      I like the full size drawings to cut from. It will make the build much easier.

      I would buy this product again and again

      The order got mixed up but was straightened out without any problem. The plans are just what I wanted.
