Organizing and storing your wood properly will help you spend more time on your project and less time tripping, falling or finding the right piece. Generally speaking, the type of wood pieces you have lying around will determine what type of storage solution you need.
Upcycled projects and handmade wooden décor were hot sellers at this year’s Destination Design – an annual fundraiser for the Habitat for Humanity of the Mid-Ohio Valley. Useful and easy
On the sheet goods storage cabinet, the plan calls for a 1/2" edge trim added to all uprights, so an 8' sheet could fit inside. I made it a 1" trim to give a little bit more room. Easy to make. I haven't made the other two items yet, but definitely plan to. They look simple and useful, not unlike myself.
