    Mission style dresser plans

I purchased this plan and one other by the same designer. Blueprint was very confusing, incomplete and not totally to scale. No pictures were included, dimensions that might have clarified things were absent. I returned both plans and vowed never to buy plans from this company again. It is a shame that Woodcraft, a reputable co. carries plans so poorly done.

    poor instructions with errors

I have been a wood worker for many years making most of the furniture in our house. I am so disapointed with this project. The drawings are not clear. The instructions are whoefully inadequate. The measurments are off just not available. Had they included a few pictures to help with the drawing that would have helped. I have waisted some expensive wood I hope I can recover this cost. I will never buy a set of plans frm you again.

    the plans need work

they say to cut 3/4 by 3/4 inch notches for K the end guides. The end guides are too short to fit in the notches and why do it that way. The slots should be for the frame ends. Do not cut all the material first, measure what you have and cut the piece to fit. The other reviewer was correct in saying the full size plans are correct, but hard to read. If you get these plans, study study, measure, measure and study some more

    Disappointed

This is my first purchase from Furniture Designs, Inc. and it will be my last. I should have known that there might be problems when I looked at the cover page next to a picture of the chest and saw the words "...use this plan to create a great heirloom quality, American-French style SLEIGH BED." The written directions are horrible. In at least one case the written instructions directly conflicted the diagrams (the diagrams are corect) causing major problems. Fortunately, I have experience in fixing my own mistakes, so I was able to make some changes and salvage the project. Lack of attention to detail is NOT what I was looking for in a set of plans!
