Here is a sturdy, roomy, and simple to build porch swing. The beginner and weekend builder will have no problems constructing the swing itself OR the uniquely fashioned Mission A-Frame. This plan is adapted from a 100 year old design the distinct feature of which was the split A-Frame. The swing itself is a hearty 5' wide and if you don't feel like making the A-Frame (which stands 7' tall), you can simply hang the swing under a porch.
You are provided with a complete list of materials, including chain lengths needed, easy to read and understand measured drawings, many photos taken during the construction process, plus instructions and our customer support. Mission is correct
Another one that I am getting ready to try. More info later. For the record:I am trying to make 3 swings for my kids and wife. Going to go slow. Could take a while.
