The instructions were great to follow...although I'd typically read them again and again. You are able to trace all pieces with ease. The skill level required is not too great. But be warned that this project will take a considerable amount of time. I have close to 200 hours into it. I stained mine different colors to give it unique character. I used poplar. The design has such unique character. The horse looks like it is ready to bolt through the fence.

I plan on giving this to my nephews for hopefully the best gift ever. I have been working on it for at least 3 hrs. a week for the past 3 months and am almost finished. This is my first plan I have ever followed and only built log furniture before this. After briefly looking online this is the best plan online but DO NOT THINK THERE IS A ORDER OF COMPLETION to this plan. You need to figure it out and use lots of clamps, glue and dowels. This plan REQUIRES A BAND SAW AND A GOOD DRUM SANDER. Make sure you take the bold suggestions seriously before making your decision.

The item I purchased was a plan with full size patterns which made marking out very easy. A full list of materials was supplied which again saved time when it came to purchasing the timber. This is the first time I have bought from this company but would be happy to do so again.
