An interesting design, this table makes use of easily obtainable 2x4 and 1x8 lumber which also keeps down on the overall weight. The finished table has over 14 square feet of table top space which is almost 50" per person of seating space. It measures 96" across at the widest point. It's a large table and a sizeable project, but the simple construction uses easy to find lumber and fasteners so nothing is too problematic with it. The large format, detailed plan has numerous measured drawings, exploded diagrams and a full list of materials, cutting list, construction checklist and instructions.

    Excellent Plan!

    We have lived in the country for 16 years. This is the best plan that we have used for our last three tables. It looks great, unusual pattern and seats eight comfortably with room to spare.

    inaccurate measurements

    All materials were cut to specfied measurement and angles, but when I went to put pieces together, it was not accurate at all. This was supposed to be a fun project, but has become a nightmare.
