As we all know, the Adirondack chair was first developed around the early 1900's for vacationers in New York State's Adirondack Mountains area. This chair is very similar to the original chairs. This model comes with optional beverage holder. Plan has full size templates where necessary, a complete list of materials, building instructions and measured drawings with multiple views.Note: Size is 38" tall, 31" wide and 33" deep.

    Nice Chair

    I ordered these classic adirondack chair plans just so I could get the sizes. I have never built one before so when I got the plans the templets were spot on. The directions are good but also leave out some information. The hardware lists tells you how many and what size screws to buy, but in the directions it only tells you to use the 2 1/2" screws at the begining of the prodject then doesn't mention where the other screws go. So I just kinda winged it. I like the templets, how it tells you what to cut out of what size board, and the pictures of where everything goes. All and all, directions lack a little, but I've never built a chair period and I know have 4 adirondack chairs made by these plans. I also built them in just 2 days. I plan on making more and selling them to turn a little profit. If your thinking of buying these plans then go ahead. If your a little crafty it will be a breeze to you.
