Springtime in the Adirondacks
Spring is finally here! It’s time to get out on your patio or deck and enjoy the season. If you are thinking about new outdoor furniture this year, give some consideration to building Adirondack chairs. This classic chair gets its name from the New York mountain camps that snapped up hundreds of them after it was invented in the early 1900s. I built two for my deck and have been enjoying them for years.

Details, details. Enough to get the job
The Adirondack Chair Plan has enough details to get the job done right the first time, and hopefully I will read and follow the instructions so it all works well!

Finished chair
I just finished with assembly of chair and now ready to paint. Wife real pleased with it.

Plan problems
The Plan's bill of materials is incorrect. Unfortunately I bought my materials before I found the error. (2X8 instead of 1X8 6' boards)
-
Very easy to follow illustrations
I found the plans to be very clear and understandable.

Very clear instructions.Comfortable too!
This was my first kit. I would recommend the plans to anyone. Probably should have bought the tracing paper. I have a problem with reading ALL the instructions before I start. Read ALL the instructions BEFORE you start (even before you buy the wood).
