perfect for work benches
I put these on my workbench legs so that I could move it to natural lighted areas during winter. I also set the bench leg length so the workbench can be the outfeed table for my table saw. Excellent product, solidly made, bench glides around the shop until I lower it - then its rock solid for planing and chiselling.

Very nice
Replacements for replacements trying to get something that will work with my heavy cabinet saw. The casters fixed the problem of the two sets of casters before that couldn't handle the weight even though they were rated for it. I can move a 700 pound saw with one hand now.

easy to install and operates well.
I use these casters under a very heavy work bench (4 X 8)that doubles as an outfeed table for my table saw. They allow me to adjust the height of the bench to match the saw and give me the ability to move the bench around my shop with ease. So far I am very happy with the casters. I do feel that a foot brake would make these casters more user friendly but no real complaints yet.

Very good product for great price
These are very hefty and allow rolling of 700 pound J/P with ease on a concrete floor. A great product I just cant understand why this is only available with top plate mount. They should really offer the 12mm or 3/8 inch studded version. After purchasing these casters I tested them by mounting them temporarily to a hard wood base, I then raised and set the machine on top of the base and secured machine to base. It was like a dream how easily and sturdy the machine would roll wherever I wanted it to. After passing the test with flying colors, I removed them from the machine and wood base in order to install them directly to the machine. This would have required drilling 16 holes on a 700pound machine that is already pre drilled with 12mm/ 3/8inch holes on all 4 corners. I cant drill the 16 new holes safely by myself as it would require raising the machine very high or tilting it. Not enough room to drill from up top. So I returned these and instead spent [$] on identical casters with the 12mm studs for an almost effortless install. Money well spent! Like is said my Bandsaw, Table saw, Jointer/Planer, Lathe and Drill press (all different brands) are all pre drilled on all 4 corners for the stud type mount (or to bolt to floor) so I cant understand why they don't offer this method of installation instead. But if you can manage the top plate mount then go for it. You wont regret it.

Good heavy duty caster
Used these casters on a heavy shop worktable. Table moves easily, levels easily, and doesn't have the slight move problem of normal "locking" casters because the extended feet are very stable.
