An Excellent Tool for the Hobbyist

The Wood River Fingernail Bowl Gouges are the most economical lathe tools of this type on the market. For the avid DIYer who turns as a hobby, WR tools are the right quality and the right price. Most hobbyist can't spend a $100.00+ on a single tool. Some "purist" turners will say that this isn't one of the Sheffield, England made chisels. For my purposes,WR are great chisels.

      1/8" fingernail bowl gouge

For small bowels or boxes it is great and that is what I purchased it for. Don't try to overload it. It is for small work and it does that well.
