    Not at all like my previous batch.

    I believe I had the same issue as some of these other customers. My bag was about half full of very thin, clear, glittery blanks that are loaded with air pockets. I feel that that was bad quality control.

    Half the bag is clear

    I bought three bags when they were on sale for Black Friday 2022. In all three bags, about half of the blanks were clear, thin, and full of bubbles and glitter--not anything I can figure out how to use, at least on a pen. Some blanks have really good color. Some have unappealing color. There were a few "granite"-looking blanks that show the inner brass tube once turned. There were a few blanks with a cool-looking hexagonal pattern on the surface which disappears once turned. I figure each bag has about eight or nine good, useable blanks. Take that number and price it out accordingly.

    Grab Bag, Yes. Assorted Varieties? Perhaps.

    Another review on 10/04/22 by a JS of Marshville stated they received more than 1/2 of their grab bag in one type of acrylic - clear with silver flakes and bubbles, 1/2" in thickness. I received a very similar package; almost half of the bag was the exact same material. I understand what I'm buying are leftovers and they're cheap. I get that. What I was disappointed to see was the lacking assortment in the package. WoodCraft has done well in the past; this purchase was their first genuine letdown.

    Toss up on what you get ...last batch sucked

    Last batch sucked big time.. over 1/2 the batch is clear with some silver flakes and lots and lots of big bubbles. To make it even worse 1/2 of the clear measure 1/2 " or less on one side making them completely useless.. Not a happy camper

    Amazing!

    I bought a bag at the Woodcraft store in my city. The staff was super helpful!! This bag came in a variety of sizes and colors, everything as described. There were some defects to some of the pieces but it is honestly a really good price for all of the acrylics in there. My class is making pens at school and this bag allowed us to make some very good ones. I really recommend this bag to anyone looking to make Acrylic pens or any other small project. As mentioned before, there will be some defects, but it's a grab bag, so you get what you pay for. If you want more stable or longer acrylics, I recommend buying the individual ones on this site. The price for this assortment is really good though.

    Awesome

    I have purchased almost 30 pounds of this product, some of the pieces are too small to use for pen blanks, but most of what i have received was more than enough for making single tube pens and you get a variety of pieces so you can mix and match your pens. They also glue together very well with some CA glue and turn very smooth.

    Acrylic Grab Bag

    Completely as advertised. Several pieces suitable as pen blanks, and several other small pieces for other uses. Recommend for beginners wanting to practice on acrylic pen turning. You can turn inexpensive blanks and crank out some beautiful pens.

    A lot of defects!

    Bought one of these for making smaller projects like tooth pick holders, but about a 3rd of them were blanks with defects like air bubbles that made them unusable. Most of them are to short to do anything with other then making beads. Out if the 30-40 I got in the bag, only 9 were actually usable.

Compare With
