Good jaws for my chuck
The Wood River chuck is only as useful as its jaws allow it to be. I have all the jaws available for it which gives it considerable versatility. I use it on my bench lathe when making small parts for models that I build.

works great
I am a beginner wood turner. The price of the Wood River chuck set up was what I was looking for. All works very well. I wish the case was big enough to hold the chuck and all jaws, but that is minor.

Pin Jaws
I bought these to hold work too small for my regular jaws. One does not have to seat work all the way to the bottom either. I find that I can hold an item with just a small part of the jaws touching and still turn it. Work does not have to be that small. The jaws open up nicely to accommodate work over an inch in diameter. A really good buy for the money.

Just the right size for small turnings
I found the jaws that came with the chuck just a little large for my small turnings but thiese jaws are just right for the turnings that I commonly do. I do still have the larger jaws when the need arises.
