Precision Framing Squares

Designed For Tight Tolerance Woodworking,

Features You’ve Always Wanted In A Large Square

Framing Squares Just Don’t Cut It. Conventional framing squares may be OK for construction jobs where “square” means in the neighborhood of 90°. That’s what you can expect from a square that’s punched out by the thousands on a massive stamping press. As most woodworkers know, framing squares simply can’t be trusted in high tolerance shop work.

Not Your Father’s Framing Square– Guaranteed! Woodpeckers new, large-sized Precision Woodworking Squares offer accuracy that’s so good, it’s guaranteed. How precise? Our squares are machined and quality checked to be dead square within .001” or less for each foot of blade length.

Work With Confidence. With our 26” x 16” Precision Woodworking Square (we also offer an 18” x 12” model and metric equivalents) you can confidently set up track saws or straight edge devises for sawing or routing operations. You know you’ll make a square cut every time. These tools are also perfect for panel layout work. The blade of the 26 x 16 model lets you accurately mark all the way to the center of 4’ x 8’ sheet goods.

Unmatched Precision and Finest Quality Materials. Our Precision Woodworking Squares start the manufacturing process as a solid piece of expensive aluminum plate. This stable material is then carefully machined on our state-of-art CNC equipment. The result is a single-piece blade and handle that’s made square and will stay square.
Two pieces of precision-machined aluminum form the cheeks of the handle. These cheeks are affixed with stainless steel dowel pins that ensure bulletproof rigidity and perfect alignment when pressed into their precision-machined holes. This kind of strength and accuracy simply cannot be matched by conventional framing squares.

Features Galore. The blades are ¼” thick and the handle is a full ¾”. The inside edge of the handle features a shoulder so it will lay flat on the work while still registering against the panel edge. The thick handle makes it easy to stand the blade upright to check square on cabinet inside corners hands free. Easy to read measurement scales are laser etched in 1/16th increments (1mm on metric models) on both sides of the blade.

Ordering Options. You can choose to order your Precision Woodworking Square in either size with Imperial or metric scales or save money when you choose the set. Optional custom fitted cases are also available and are perfect for mounting on your shop wall.

Pre-Order Now, Don’t Delay. Like all Woodpeckers OneTIME Tools, these Precision Woodworking Squares are scheduled for a one-time production run. They’ll make enough to fill orders received by the October 10, 2016 deadline. Order yours today! Delivery is scheduled for March, 2017. Made in their own shop outside Cleveland, Ohio. Made in U.S.A.

What are our ONE-TIME TOOLS? They’re the tools that our partners at Woodpeckers plan to run once. Often these are tools we ourselves would like but can’t put in full production. The process is simple; they build a couple, take some pictures and open a 10-20 day window for others to jump on the production run. Once they know how many to make, they get them done and move on to something else.

By buying a One-Time Tool, you will own a limited run precisely machined tool that will make you the envy of all your woodworking friends, and you have a tool that will be used for generations. These tools are proudly made in the USA."""
