    Bourbon barrels can only be used once for making bourbon. Once they are emptied they can be repurposed for use in aging other liquors. These blanks have the charring caused by firing of the barrel prior to aging the bourbon whiskey for four or more years, but they have the tequilla aroma. Blanks are a heavy 3/4" x 3/4" x 5" and have been dried and brushed to remove excess char. Blanks can be finished just as any piece of wood, but we don’t recommend it. The excitement is in the smell of the tequilla.
