Details

Our selection of sequence-matched veneer packs by Sauers and Company® allows you to create inspiring works of art with your woodworking project. Each 2/83" thick sheet measures 12" in length and 4-1/2" to 6-1/2" in width. The convenient 3 square foot packs are the perfect size for marquetry, inlay repair, accents on furniture and any other small jobs around the shop. Wenge veneer is naturally dark brown in color. The deep dark color of the wood adds dramatic effect by itself or a bold contrast with other woods such as oak, cherry, koa, and more. Wenge is a West African hardwood that is very dense, hard and heavy with a coarse texture and a porous grain. Wenge wood veneer will accept finishes well but care should be taken to remove all sanding dust from the pores. It is almost never stained.

Features:

  • Unbacked, high-quality, real wood veneer
  • Sequence-matched
  • Grain runs lengthwise
  • Great for marquetry, inlay repair, accents on furniture and any other small jobs around the shop
