Create your own one-of-a-kind weather station and stay informed about changing weather conditions! Thermometer is scaled in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, hygrometer measures the amount of moisture in the air (humidity), and the barometer indicates weather trends over a period of time by registering changes in atmospheric conditions. Can be combined with matching clock fit-ups. All bezels are 2-3/4" in diameter and mount in a 2-3/8" diameter hole. Silicon rubber gasket mounting system makes installation easy. To operate properly, all the instruments should be vented to allow quick adjustment to changes in the atmosphere. Barometer should be used at altitudes below 6,000 ft. This classic weather station is as attractive as it is versatile. It is designed to be wall-mounted in either a horizontal or vertical position and will give you years of accurate readings. The kit includes the full-size plans as well as a set of three European-made weather instruments (barometer, hygrometer and thermometer) with brass bezels and ivory dials. Finished project measures 12-1/2" H x 4-5/8" W x 3/4" D.

As a kit i enjoyed the wood working and little design changes i made to some of the machining.I used red oak and gave er a good sanding followed with a early American stain and top er off with a satin top coat.It was fun and easy to follow instructions.Remember you can put your own little changes to the design. It doesnt matter the Highlander wheather station is gonna look good!
