It provides a strong, clear protective finish against water, stains, and rigorous wear and tear. It’s an ideal way to protect wood surfaces that have been stained with Watco® Danish Oil Finishes.

      Smooth as Glass

      We use this product on items turned on our lathes, including pens, bowls, and flutes. It is very easy to apply, although you may want to wear latex gloves to avoid messy hands. The finish is very glossy with just one or two coats, seems to be very durable, and is water resistant. Not surprisingly, it retains the gloss much longer than finishes which include wax. I only wish the cap on the container was like the plastic ones that snap shut. You must wipe the cap area clean after each use. If not, the cap will seal so tightly, you will bend it to open it for the next use, thus ruining the seal.
